Welcome
Traditional, artistic, jewelry, and custom ironwork by blacksmith Wyatt Bienfang include plow shear sharpening, hooks, hinges, handles, rivets, roses, crosses, mantels, and more. Using traditional hammer, anvil, and coal forge methods to shape metal by hand, a variety of products emerge. No two items are identical with the heat, metal, and blacksmith's skill influencing each product uniquely. The shop tools include hammers, anvils, chisels, tongs, and trip hammers. Pictures of the shop and the products it produces are featured on this site. Like our Facebook page to stay current on events hosted at the shop or that we will be attending with sample products. Traditional Work
I find working the traditional way - with hammer, anvil and coal forge - repairing old farm equipment, building hooks, brackets, hinges and handles, sharpening plow shears and the many other projects that come into my shop very rewarding.
Custom Work
This is perhaps the most challenging work for me as each project which comes into my shop seems to stretch my learning and skills. I enjoy this part of my blacksmith work very much. If you have a project which you would like to see built, I may be able to help you make it happen.

Artistic Work
My favorite time working in my shop is creating artistic and beautiful works of art with the metal red-hot coming out of the forge. It all starts with a dream and a vision; sometimes it's mine and sometimes it is from someone else.
Jewelry
My daughter Amber Jae is the one who encouraged me to think about creating pieces of art which would appeal to the ladies. So, from the fire comes jewelry which holds the shapes of the blacksmith's skill for you to wear.
